Using Mould as metaphor for shame and maintanence as healing, Mould is a reflective documentation of the artist’s struggle with toxic shame, the internalised self-degradation that are often ignored or undermined in the name of humility.
Presented as a diaristic photobook consisting of photograph, drawing, text and chat history, the work draws parallel between the characteristic of mould in one’s surrounding and the poison in their mind.
